
DAN MARSHALL

Dan Marshall hails from Southeastern Virginia. Born into a Marine Corps family, he shares a great love for his country. Dan attended Virginia Tech, where he was a member of the football team. Dan began to kindle his passion for music at the age of 12, learning the piano. At 18, he picked up the guitar and taught himself a few chords, quickly igniting a passion to write and play country music. In 2021 Dan started to share his music online. Soon after, he caught the attention of American Idol, where he would go on to place in the Top 10 on Season 20. After the show ended Dan packed up and moved to Nashville to pursue his career in country music. His style is heavily influenced by late 90’s and early 2000’s country music and classic rock. His main musical influences are Garth Brooks, George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson and Toby Keith. Dan released his first single "She Wants a Ring" in May of 2023. His release of “Heaven’s Honky Tonk” created an online viral craving for more of his authentic country music. Dan was named to The Country Wire’s list of “Artists To Look Out For In 2024” (alongside Ella Langley & Zach Top).
